Ground THEN Expand

Grounding Meditation

About the importance of strong roots

In order to grow as a person - or let's be honest - to survive everyday life, we need to have a strong and secure base.

And we need this base to be deep within ourselves.

A place where can connect, root and feel safe. No matter what is going on around us at the time.

The past two years have revealed one thing very clearly to me: If we are depending on outside factors to feel safe, we never will.

If we are depending on outside factors to feel safe, we never will.

And as much as I love talking about manifestation and expansion. We won't feel comfortable stretching our wings beyond what we thought possible if we haven't cultivated that safe space within ourselves.

And know how to return to that space if we fell of the bandwagon and feel lost.

There are a lot of ways to get there. For me I cultivate that space through my meditation practice. So I can access it whenever I need it, in whatever surrounding I am at any given moment.

It's like a muscle you train. So on the days you have to lift heavy boxes, you do it with ease and you get exhausted way later. Also your body will restore itself in a whole other way if your muscles are used to exercise.

I hear some people call it "the spiritual gym" and it kind of fits the idea. It's work. It's dedication. But it's so damn worth it.

There are so many great meditation programs out there. If you haven't started yet or you feel your meditation practice hovers at a kind of shallow level and "is not working" for you, I offer 1:1 meditation consultations.

I believe everyone needs to have that secure base. Because I also believe that we are not only here on earth to survive but to fulfill our purpose and to thrive.

And to do so we have to tend to our basic needs first.

I recorded a grounding meditation (in german) for you as a podcast to access whenever you feel like it.

With love,

Isabelle
